Black Tunnel Doors
 Chore-Time has recently introduced tunnel doors that are black in
color. The black Chore-Time Tunnel Doors can be used in all types of
poultry houses and offer poultry producers a reduction in the amount of light
reflected into the poultry house as well as improved in-house air mixing and
potential energy savings for tunnel ventilation systems. The innovative
tunnel doors produce a cyclone-shaped air movement that generates desirable
airflow at bird level throughout the poultry house.
The unique air
movement helps to eliminate dead-air zones at the side- and end-walls typically
found in curtain sidewall or double-door houses. The tunnel doors direct
cold air upward, away from birds until it has mixed with house air which then
swirls down and into the center of the house for outstanding air mixing.

VR™ Wipes
 Pre-moistened degreaser towels developed for cleaning and maintaining sanitation in meat plants, food processors, food distribution, restaurants and supermarkets. Engineered to remove fats, greases and oils from food and meat contact surfaces; VR Wipes materially reduce the “bio-load” accumulation on reusable impervious apparel, gloves, cutting tools, instruments, and work surfaces when used in a continual plant-wide cleaning program.
VR Wipes contain degreasing surfactants and quaternary ammonia compounds that work together in cleaning organic material and associated contamination from impervious surfaces, and also meet FDA Standards for “no rinse” chemical concentration limitations. The VR Wipe no-rinse formula, which contains no color additives or fragrances, makes cleaning of impervious apparel and work surfaces easier and more efficient.
VR Wipes are 8” x 12” and packaged in rolls of 300. They are offered in a re-usable plastic dispensing bucket. In addition the company offers refillable stainless steel canisters that can be mounted, in a floor stand or simply placed free-standing. PolyConversions also manufactures a “No Rinse” Spray & Wipe with an adjustable spray nozzle that targets “bio-load” accumulation on hard-to-reach work surface areas.

 Sellick Equipment Limited has expanded the S Series product line by adding a 16,000 lb capacity model. The new S160-4 has fulltime four wheel drive and four equal sized wheels. By steering both axles, the S160-4 has a tight turning radius of 150”. The S160-4 is powered by the Dieselmax 444 Turbocharged Tier III diesel engine producing 114 hp, and is coupled to a fully automatic power-shift transmission for efficient operation. Axles feature enclosed wet disc brakes for extended life, and limited slip differentials for maximum traction and maneuverability. Consistent with the S Series product line, the operator platform of the S160-4 is mounted to frame on isolators which dramatically reduce noise and vibration for the operator. Standard features include frame leveling, tilt steering column with full instrumentation, light package, and back-up alarm. American Coolair Fan Upgrades Offer High Efficiency |
 American Coolair announces a major upgrade of the cast aluminum blade fan models NBCB-52 and the FGBCB-52 fans, including a new larger diameter fan disc/pulley and installation of four single-row radial ball bearings in the new disc, giving these fans the longest bearing life in the industry.
"Customers are getting the best of best worlds – very efficient fans, but also very durable, too,” said Mark Fales, sales manager.
The unique Coolair design allows the disc to rotate on a static shaft much like the wheel on an axle. This design reduces the load on the bearings because the shaft does not turn. The fan discs – previously 9.4 inches in diameter – are now 11.6 inches. The larger disc also means a longer fan belt and a larger motor pulley, reducing belt slippage by increasing the belt's contact area.
With air circulation already a vital concern among poultry growers, the popular 52” American Coolair fan upgrades are projected to further set the industry standard for efficiency and low maintenance.
