ACA Receives $3.5 million Loan from N.S. Government

September 19, 2008- Nova Scotia's only poultry processor is getting a $3.5-million loan from the province for working capital.

The government says the loan will help the ACA Co-op in New Minas to maintain its 650 jobs with an annual payroll of more than $25 million.

ACA has seven divisions including eggs, feed, hatchery, poultry, retail farm equipment and poultry processing.

The company's major customers include Sobeys, Co-op Atlantic and Sysco Food Service.

ACA has annual sales of more than $110 million.
