Alberta poultry scientists awarded
The Poultry Science Association (PSA) recognized the research excellence at the Alberta Poultry Research Centre (PRC) during their annual meeting in Niagara Falls last week.
Drs. Martin Zuidhof, Doug Korver,
Frank Robinson, as well as Felicity
Dennis (technician), Lukas Kowalilak (3rd year undergraduate student
studying
with Dr. Fasenko), and Victoria Sikur (completed a MSc. with the PRC)
were honoured by the PSA for their contributions to furthering the
poultry industry.
The awards won:
Doug Korver: American Feed Industry Association Poultry Nutrition Research Award.
Martin Zuidhof: National Chicken Council Broiler Research Award.
Frank Robinson: Fellow of the Poultry Science Association
Felicity Dennis: Tyson Foods Support Personnel Award.
Lukas Kowalilak: Student Research Paper Certification of Excellence
Victoria Sikur: Early Achievement Award for Industry
