Sept. 17, 2010 – Omega -3 Enrichment of Poultry Meat seminar to be held Thursday, September 30, 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm, at the Poultry Research Centre, University of Alberta.

Robert Renema – Biology of poultry meat and egg enrichment with biactive oils
Mirko Betti – Bioactive lipids in poultry meat: meat quality considerations
Martin Zuidhof – Considerations for optimizing the process of Omega-3 broiler enrichment
Randall Weselake – Feeding flax for Omega-3 enrichment
Len Underwood – Commercial opportunities for Omega -3 enriched meat products.
