Avian Influenza – Vietnam

LOCATION: Dien Lien, Dien Chau, Nghe An

DETAILS: Information received on Aug. 3 from Dr. Dong Pham Van, director general, chief veterinary officer, Department of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Hanoi, Viet Nam, reported a recurrence of a listed disease, HPAI H5H6, in a backyard flock. The outbreak status remains ongoing.
