Nov. 28, 2013, Quebec City, QB – At the Best of CAMA (Canadian Agri-Marketing Association) awards held in late November, the Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (COFS) team ended the night with two big awards.

Lorie Jocius, who along with her late husband, Ginty Jocius, co-founded Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show over 20 years ago, took home the evening’s top prize as she was named Canadian Agri-Marketer of the Year.

“This is a huge honour as I now stand in the company of some great communicators in the Canadian agri-food sector, including Ginty who received the same recognition almost 20 years ago,” says Jocius after receiving her award.

The ceremony also awarded Stefanie Nagelschmitz, the COFS team lead and communications, with the CAMA Ontario Honour Roll award in recognition of her contributions to the CAMA Ontario Chapter throughout the year.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of such a dynamic professional organization like CAMA,” says Nagelschmitz. “I feel very grateful to those who have nominated me. It was a special surprise.”
