Jan.5, 2011 – More than 1,000 chicken farms have been shut down and a report from Germany's Agriculture Ministry has revealed that up to 3,000 tons of an animal feed additive contains traces of poisonous dioxin. The news came as the scandal spread beyond Germany's borders.
