JAN. 22 | ENTEROCOCCUS CECORUM (E. CECORUM)
Dr. Benoit Lanthier, technical advisor, Cobb-Vantress Inc.
E. cecorum is a commensal bacterium of the gut microbiota of adult chickens. It has emerged over the last 20 years as a significant cause of locomotor disorders in Canada, partially sparked by the removal of antibiotics at the hatchery. In this webinar, Dr. Benoit Lanthier will provide an overview of the disease and review the diagnostics. While there is no specific solution yet, Lanthier will share success stories he’s had with some customers who were able to control it by hatching chicks in HatchCare hatcheries or at the farm. He’ll give some possible explanations for why this is helping to reduce the severity and incidence of the disease.

Final webinar: JAN. 29 | INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE
