Kieran McKeown was just 29 when she took over as general manager of the family layer farm, Daybreak Farms. Since then, she’s been overseeing egg production, a grading station, a feed mill and about a dozen staff. She’s also led a multi-million-dollar modernization project to convert her older barns to enriched housing.
