The Feather Board Command Centre has been notified by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), that ILT has been diagnosed in a layer chicken from a very small flock in West Nipissing municipality. No specific location information has been provided by OMAFRA as this is an unregistered flock. A Biosecurity Advisory Area has been established. Artisanal farmers and small flock growers in this area are being contacted and advised to enhance their biosecurity programs.
