July 12, 2011 – The International Egg Commission (IEC) is calling for companies in the egg industry to participate in the competition for the IEC awards.

July 12, 2011 – The International Egg Commission (IEC) is calling on companies in the egg industry to participate in the competition for the IEC awards. "It’s time to tell the world how good you are."
The awards are a good opportunity to promote the excellent work egg companies are doing, according to IEC. If they have executed a successful marketing strategy, or implemented new corporate & social responsibility (CSR) initiatives recently, IEC wants to hear about it. They want to make sure that such companies get the credit they deserve.
These industry awards provide an excellent opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements from within the egg industry, says the IEC. All members are eligible to compete for the Egg Marketing Awards, and the IEC also welcomes nominations for the Egg Products Company of the Year Award and the International Egg Person of the Year, the Denis Wellstead Award.
The 2011 Crystal Egg Award will be presented to the IEC member that demonstrates the most outstanding commitment to CSR. This award is open to companies of any size and to country associations.
