DETAILS: ILT diagnosed in West Nipissing small layer flock. The Feather Board Command Centre has been notified by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), that ILT has been diagnosed in a layer chicken from a very small flock in West Nipissing municipality. No specific location information has been provided by OMAFRA as this is an unregistered flock. A Biosecurity Advisory Area has been established. Artisanal farmers and small flock growers in this area are being contacted and advised to enhance their biosecurity programs.
