
Manitoba egg farmers share their love for ‘super food’

In recognition of World Egg Day, members of Manitoba Egg Farmers scrambled on Friday morning to give out free egg sandwiches and coffee in Winnipeg’s Exchange District.
“This is our local farm group here,” MEF member Sandra Dyck, who farms 5,000 hens with her husband just west of Winnipeg, told the Sun . “Our hope today is just to share our love for eggs, and get people interested in eggs, and be available for consumers to ask questions.”
