N.S. chicken industry rising to the challenges of COVID-19

All levels of the pecking order in chicken production are feeling the crunch during these unprecedented times.

“A lot of stress for everybody,” said Kings County farmer Thom Oulton.

“You just notice it in everyone that you work with.”

Oulton serves as the chairman of the Chicken Farmers of Nova Scotia. He’s also been farming for 20 years.
