News Company News National Poultry ShowThe last two in-person events have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
After a successful virtual event earlier this year, National Poultry Show organizers the Western Fair Association (WFA) and the Poultry Industry Council (PIC) have begun planning for a return to an in-person format for next year’s show, happening April 6-7, 2022.
The National Poultry Show will return to its home at the Western Fair District Agriplex and will be one of the first live trade shows launched in the event space.
For almost two years now, the space has served as a field hospital and vaccination centre for London Health Sciences Centre as part of southwestern Ontario’s pandemic response plan.
Both the 2020 and 2021 in-person poultry events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
PIC and WFA continue to partner on the event and have given back to the industry and producers since 1957.
A portion of the revenues from this event helps PIC create educational resources and programs for the Ontario poultry sector.
