Agriculture Minister Steve Thomson was on hand Friday to
mark the official opening of the Containment Level 3 animal lab in
Abbotsford.

Oct. 1, 2009 – Agriculture Minister Steve Thomson was on hand Friday to mark the official opening of the Containment Level 3 animal lab in Abbotsford.

The $14-million laboratory, attached to the province's Ministry of Agriculture and Lands complex on Angus Campbell Road, is a super-secure facility where scientists can quickly test for animal diseases that could be passed on to humans. | READ MORE
