PIC golf tournament raises $22K

The 2022 Poultry Industry Council’s (PIC) annual charity golf tournament couldn’t have happened on a more perfect, sunny day at Foxwood Golf Club in Baden, Ont.

PIC hosts the golf tournament annually as an effort to raise funds to support their education and extension mandate.

Despite the many lock downs over the past two years, PIC has been able to host the golf tournament uninterrupted.

It was evident that the industry is keen to get back together in person resulting in 170 golfers joining in for golf and a dinner banquet and a record number of producers in attendance along with industry partners and friends.

The tournament was able to raise $21,773 and will go towards PIC events, activities and resources.
