April 19, 2010 - The organizers of VIV Europe have decided to go forward with as planned April 20-22 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, despite the impact of the Icelandic volcano eruption on air travel in Europe.
On behalf of the VIV Europe Team, Gerard Leeuwenburgh, Director International Exhibitions:
The unfortunate situation at many airports in Europe as a consequence of the volcanic eruption in Island will have considerable impact on VIV Europe. After careful consideration and balancing all interest involved we came to the following conclusion that VIV EUROPE will take place as planned in Utrecht, the Netherlands on the dates April 20 to 22. A postponement of prolongation of the original dates will have even bigger impact.
