The OvoPro SP Screw Press

The eggshells entering the hopper are subjected to gradually increasing pressure as it moves toward the outlet, forcing the liquid egg product to extrude through the screen.
The OvoPro SP Screw Presses is a system in which a screw of progressively reducing pitch rotates inside a cylindrical perforated screen. The eggshells entering the hopper are subjected to gradually increasing pressure as it moves toward the outlet, forcing the liquid egg product to extrude through the screen.
A discharge cone at the outlet provides an easy adjustment to control the moisture content of the eggshells and the rotating cone feature eliminates purging conditions. All stainless steel construction and NEMA motors are standard.
The OvoPro SP-600, SP-200 and SP-8000 units can handle shell capacities from 400 to 8000 cases per hour lb/hr of eggshells and liquid. The systems can easily handle high volume of inedible eggs from candling or grading operations.
The benefits of this concept include a tremendous increase in reliability, reduction in maintenance costs and the flexibility to control the moisture content of the processed eggshells. The Screw Press designed to withstand the severe egg-breaking environment. Constructed of Stainless Steel with The high quality components and compact design allows for quick installation and longer life.
