WTO Releases Revised Modalities Draft for Agriculture

December 9, 2008- The latest revision of the agriculture modalities paper by agriculture chairperson Ambassador Crawford Falconer, including what could become the formulas for cutting tariffs and trade-distorting agricultural subsidies in a final deal was issued on 6 December 2008. The paper is a result of the outcome of the latest discussions in negotiation groups and would be a focus of crucial talks if a representative group of ministers return to Geneva later in December.|READ MORE
