Valley Farms is expanding its fresh organic line to offer Ontario-grown organic turkey
for Thanksgiving. Yorkshire Valley
organic turkey will be available at Loblaws and other select stores in

Certified organic turkey must meet exacting standards set out by the Government of Canada, including strict use of organic feed grains only, no antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products in the feed, and sustainable agricultural practices on the farms including access to sunlight and fresh air for the birds.  Conventional turkey growers do not have to meet the same high standards for feed, raising and processing.
