(dry concentrate), a nitrogen stabilizer from Agrotain

addition to UAN.

A review of the safety, efficacy and label by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has determined that the product meets all requirements prescribed by the Fertilizer Acts and Regulations. The dry concentrate formulation is well suited for air seeders because the additive goes on dry, as opposed to liquid additives.

Agrotain Dry, a urease inhibitor, reduces volatility and ammonia release in the critical days after planting. It can be used with granular urea in single shoot seeders, as a preplant, side-dress or other surface application on crops such as wheat, canola, flax, small grains, forage corps, corn, vegetables and pasture. Because it is a dry material, it handles and mixes well even in cold conditions.

Agrotain Dry also provides farmers flexibility to spread their workload. The product may be applied this fall while putting urea into storage bins on the farm or when urea is being loaded in the spring for application.
