MP Moves to Change Animal Slaughter Transit Regulations

October 30, 2009- Quebec Liberal MP Alexandra Mendes (Brossard-La Prairie) has introduced a private
member's bill to amend federal regulations on food and water for
animals in transit in the House of Commons, and it has been seconded by New Democrat agriculture critic Alex Atamanenko.
