January 10, 2012 – Saskatchewan lawyer Tony Merchant plans to file a $15.4 billion class action lawsuit against the Canadian government to ensure western farmers are compensated for the Canadian Wheat Board's assets, including cash, rail hopper cars, Great Lakes freighters, an office building and other assets.
