Registration open for B.C. Poultry Symposium; call for presentations

January 18, 2016 – Canadian Poultry Consultants is hosting its second annual B.C. Poultry Symposium (BCPS) May 26, 2016 in Abbotsford.

Poultry producers, allied trades, service persons, nutritionists, poultry scientists, veterinarians and other industry professionals are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. The theme of the Sympsosium is “Discovery, Innovation, Solutions” and will cover a large range of the most important issues facing the poultry industry today. The meeting agenda will allow for people to share their knowledge and experience regarding poultry health and management with the poultry industry in a presentation format.

The BCPS will be held at the Ramada Plaza and Convention Centre at 36035 North Parallel Road in Abbotsford, B.C. The registration fee for BCPS-DIS is $10.50 ($10.00 + $0.50GST). A working lunch is sponsored for meeting attendees.

The registration deadline is April 30th, 2016.

Call for scientific case reports and presentations:

The BCPS would like to encourage submission of case reports and presentations.  If interested, please e-mail admin@canadianpoultry.ca or call 1-877-449-3447 as soon as possible to have a case report or presentation slot reserved or please request a presentation slot online using the registration link above. Please also include the presentation title in your e-mail/phone call as soon as possible. The case report/presentation time allotment is 15 minutes, however longer presentation times can be requested. There will be a five minute question period after each case report/presentation. In order to have the program run as smoothly as possible we would ask that all presenters forward a copy of their PowerPoint presentation to admin@canadianpoultry.ca at their earliest convenience. If you are having any problems forwarding this by e-mail please contact 604-854-6600 to arrange for a secure file transfer. Please provide an abstract suitable for publication on the BCPS website or permission to use your original presentation.
