June 11, 2010, Milford, Ind. — Chore-Time has announced a new online calculator for use by broiler breeder producers wanting to calculate how much feeder space their birds will have when eating from Chore-Time's GENESIS® Breeder Feeder.
The new Chore-Time calculator is available at www.choretimepoultry.com/calculator.php . While visiting the online GENESIS Feeder Calculator, producers may fill in certain key details of their operations in order to calculate the following GENESIS Feeder details:
• Feeder space per bird (in inches or centimeters)
• Total number of GENESIS Feeders in the house
• Total number of GENESIS Feeders per feeder loop
• Length of each GENESIS Feeder loop (in feet or meters)
• House offsets at the ends of the feeder loops
Thanks to the GENESIS Feeder's unique double pan with 18 grill openings, growers can feed up to 50% more breeders than at a chain feeder trough.
