April 23, 2009- An advanced Listeria monocytogenes intervention and
control workshop is being held in Chicago May 27-28 by the North
American Meat Processors Association, the American Meat
Institute Foundation and the Canadian Meat Council.
The workshop is designed to help ready-to-eat meat processors
address issues surrounding control methods and to help them assure
compliance. Attendees also will learn about developing appropriate
sanitation protocols and testing plans for processing RTE products.
