After nearly four years with the organization, Ashley Honsberger moves on.

Ashley Honsberger was executive director of the Poultry Industry Council through four stormy years for the industry.

Poultry Industry Council (PIC) recently announced that Ashley Honsberger, executive director, will be leaving the organization at the end of September.

The PIC board of directors will commence a search for a replacement soon and will work closely with staff to ensure stability of programming, events, and offerings.

“We are incredibly proud of how we as an organization weathered the stormy times of the pandemic and avian influenza and took advantage of opportunities to move our platforms forward and better share information despite the challenges,” says PIC chair Caroline Gonano.

“Under Ashley’s leadership, after nearly four years of building and rebuilding our programs, we are starting to see the clouds clear and times get really back to ‘normal’.”

Honsberger will start a new role as executive director of the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA) in October.
