The company is renovating its existing facility to improve production capacity and expanding its retail store.

February 4, 2011 – Hayter's Turkey Products Inc. of Dashwood, Ont. is expanding. The company is renovating its existing facility to improve production capacity and expanding its retail store. It will also establish a test kitchen to develop new, healthy turkey products.

Together, these improvements are expected to help triple sales, create up to six new jobs and retain more than 60 positions that will help boost the local economy. The expansion will allow the company to meet growing demand for turkey products and support local farmers.
The Province of Ontario is assisting the expansion by investing close to $350,000 in Hayter's through the Rural Economic Development Program.
