
Milo Shantz, Founder of Hybrid Turkeys, Passes Away

founder of Hybrid Turkeys, passed away yesterday at the age of
76.
Mr. Shantz began in the turkey business in 1953 and later sold the
company in 1981. He was a visionary and entrepreneur who created many
successful local and global business ventures. Mr. Shantz remained in
close contact with Hybrid Turkeys until recent months.
Ron Slavnik, the
General Manager of Hybrid Turkeys stated, "All of us at Hybrid are
saddened by this loss. Milo will always be fondly remembered as the
visionary of our company."
