Meuneries Mondou Inc., Groupe Hubert reach deal on ownership at Wilfrid Major production site.

The Meuneries Mondou Inc., and Groupe Hubert have announced that they have recently reached an agreement regarding the ownership at Wilfrid Major Ltd.’s production site in North Lancaster, Ont.

Marie-Ève Mondou, president at the Meuneries Mondou Inc., is delighted by this agreement.

“Following the acquisition of the dairy operations in 2019, we saw the opportunity to expand our services by taking over the complete operations of the mill in North Lancaster. It’s a change within continuity for the local Shur-Gain customers.”

As of September 1st, the Meuneries Mondou Inc. will produce all standard poultry feeds from North Lancaster under their brand name, Meuneries Mondou.

Meanwhile, Groupe Hubert will provide organic poultry feed under the name Wilfrid Major Ltd. from their facilities in Nicolet, Quebec.

The transportation division for both sites will continue to be operated by Groupe Hubert.

This transaction will allow them to continue developing business relationships with their respective collaborators and will not result in any changes within the teams involved in this agreement.

Therefore, this agreement within the Shur-Gain dealers’ network will enable the teams to keep providing complete, high-quality services and provide access to additional tools to support the development and achievement of their clients’ performance objectives.

Les Meuneries Mondou is a third-generation generation company founded in 1955, and a group of companies specializing in agriculture.

It provides complete and high-quality services in both animal nutrition and crops and has been a member of the Shur-Gain network for over 60 years.
