
Four additional avian flu cases detected in Canada

Four new cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in commercial poultry flocks in three Canadian provinces were confirmed.
According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) website, two of the cases were located in the municipal district of Willow Creek and Starland County in Alberta province.
Additional cases were reported in the city of Chilliwack, British Columbia and the rural municipality of Cut Knife, Saskatchewan.
